Why?

The Holy Bible tells us it is the Word of God.  This foundation of the Christian faith  is under attack in our modern world by evolutionary thought that denies the existence of God.

NEW!  More so for helping fellow Christian believers see the threat that evolution poses to our Christian faith, we offer three quotes by different atheists: Atheist Quotes  “Is creation a salvation issue?” you may be asked by a Christian friend.  One response might be to ask whether this statement is true or false: “If Jesus was not the redeemer who died for our sins, and this is what evolution means, then Christianity is nothing.”

“Modern Science” presents us with so many “facts” which contradict the Bible.  How do we as Christians handle that?  To attempt reinterpreting the Bible to fit what “we now know” results in some frankly peculiar views of scripture.  To try squeezing millions of years into Biblical text that has never included them is like fitting a square peg into a round hole.

The truth is that evolution IS NOT FACT.  Evolution and the millions-of-years age of the earth are in fact NOT SCIENTIFIC and have NEVER BEEN PROVEN.  Real science is:
√ observable
√ testable
√ repeatable.

A Biblical view of creation affirms real science and current observations such as:
√ fossils – billions of them, formed in very unique conditions present during the worldwide flood of Noah’s time
√ Carbon 14 dating of diamonds and dinosaur bones which if anywhere near the age they are supposed to be, would have NO measurable Carbon 14 remaining, yet they do
√  dinosaurs living up to just a few hundred years ago and depicted in literature and art around the world, referred to as dragons
√  human population growth which is consistent mathematically with the approximate 4,500 years since eight people left Noah’s Ark
√  earth’s decaying magnetic field
√ lunar recession
√ soft tissue found in dinosaur bones which therefore cannot possibly be more than a few thousand years old.

Can science explain how God created the universe?  No.  Nor can it explain how anything somehow originated from nothing.  Mathematically, nothing times nothing equals nothing, stated as 0 * 0 = 0.  Evolutionists cannot explain where anything came from, while we Christians believe the supernatural explanation given us by God in His written Word.  God has always existed, did not have any beginning, and is outside the laws of nature because it was He Himself that created the natural world we know!

Most importantly, God dwelt on the earth approximately 2,000 years ago as a man named Jesus Christ.  It is through Jesus that God is still, today reaching out to a sin-cursed, suffering world offering salvation and not only eternal life, but life worth living!
